Did you ever say anything to someone in anger that you lived to regret? Did you apologize? If so, did it bring you closer?

I would just like to point out that anyone writing a response to this question did not die and then regret something...The "lived" is entirely unnecessary.

Have you ever participated in a boycott? What did you boycott and why?

In the sixth grade, we boycotted not going to recess. Figure that one out.

Happy birthday, J.K. Rowling! Which of her seven Harry Potter novels do you think is the most satisfying read?

GoF, OotP, and DH. The first two have everything - duels, growing relationships, deaths, exciting parts. They leave very little to be wanted (except for Sirius not dying!). DH concludes everything in what I think is a satisfying way.

What fictional character do you most identify with?

Of the characters I'm familiar with, definitely Catherine Morland. We're both romantics (of the non-lovey variety). Seriously, if I were taken to Northanger Abbey, I would have jumped to the same conclusion about the General and his wife. And what I wouldn't do for a Henry Tilney!

No matter what language you speak, you've probably come across words or phrases in another language that sound better than their equivalents in your native tongue. What's your favorite word or phrase in a foreign language?

Je ne sais pas. It sounds so much better than "I don't know". And "c'est vrai".

Note to self: take more baths. The last time (other than tonight) that I had one was during the ice storm in January, and then it was lukewarm at best.

What change have you made in your life that you're most proud of?

I've been exercising lately. Not a lot, or very heart-pumping activities, but still. I need to lose a little bit of fat if I want to fit into my bridesmaid dress and eat at the same time. It's mostly been ab workouts. I also spend a lot of time on my thighs, too. They're fat. If anyone's got a good inner-thigh workout, hit me up. I've really only got one that feels like it's working.

So, that's what I'm proud of. Although, I just scarfed down a personal pan cheese pizza faster than you can say, "scarf down a personal pan pizza." And there's a baby Twix and several Tootsie Roll Frooties waiting for me. I'll double up for penance today or tomorrow. Actually, does it sort of get cancelled out if I ate half of a chicken and Lite Ranch wheat wrap and some steamed vegetables for lunch?

What fictional high school—from tv, film, or a book—would you most like to attend? Or would you rather never go near high school again, fictional or otherwise?

What is the one question you've always wanted someone to ask you?

"Please share my umbrella."

It's not so much a question, but all the same. And it would have to be in those words, and preferably said by a man because this is the request that would win over my heart more than anything.

Bram Stoker, author of Dracula, and Vlad the Impaler, the original Dracula, have the same birthday. Coincidence?

Nope. My money's on reincarnation.
